Alan worked for a High Street Bank in Newcastle upon Tyne, Scarborough and Hull where he was a Relationship Manager for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

He joined the Bank’s Asset Finance Division and had regular customers requiring finance to assist in the purchase of additional assets, either new or used. Customers ranged from sole traders to groups of companies with turnover in excess of £60m, for assets ranging from IT systems to print presses to fish filleting production lines to trucks.

Alan was headhunted by a finance director of a regular customer and left the finance industry for 3 years, but was later approached to return to finance by his manager at the Asset Finance Company. Since then he has been in commercial finance broking using his experience, knowledge and extensive contacts to provide good service and results for his clients.

Alan “enjoys” going to the gym and is a keen football supporter.
